We're looking for a talented Information Security Analyst to provide dedicated operational support to the Information Security Manager, helping ensure that security risks are identified, monitored, evidenced and managed consistently across the firm.
Browne Jacobson is trusted with highly confidential client and firm information, making effective information security essential to protecting our clients, colleagues, reputation and regulatory position. As an Information Security Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of the firm’s information security programme, including governance, technical control oversight, ISO 27001 assurance, supplier security reviews, vulnerability management, incident response support, staff awareness and client due diligence.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting vulnerability management activity by helping track vulnerability assessment results, remediation actions, penetration test findings and progress updates.
- Supporting the investigation and management of information security incidents, including phishing, malware, suspected data loss, lost or stolen devices and other security concerns.
- Assisting with the development of the firms approach to Data Leakage Prevention (DLP).
- Supporting internal information security audits, including preparing audit questions, gathering evidence, documenting findings and tracking remediation actions through to closure.
What we're looking for:
- A solid understanding of core information security principles and best practices.
- Experience supporting information security, IT security, risk, compliance, audit or technology functions.
- Awareness of common cyber security threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Defender, Purview or Sentinel would be beneficial.
