We’re looking for an Associate – Agriculture/Rural & Estates to join our growing Agriculture/Rural and Estates team, advising a diverse range of clients across a broad spectrum of rural property and agricultural matters.
The role involves working within a consistently growing team that advises landed estates, farmers, rural landowners, institutional and charitable landowners, and agricultural businesses. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise across the full range of rural and estates work, including:
- Agricultural tenancies
- Rural land sales and acquisitions
- Estate management
- Renewable energy projects
- Environmental stewardship schemes
- Disposals of land for development
What you'll be doing:
- Providing advice on time and to a high standard of technical competence across a broad range of rural property and agricultural matters.
- Actively undertaking business development and marketing within the rural and agricultural sector.
- Assisting senior members of the team with more complex projects and transactions.
- Undertaking legal research both as requested and on your own initiative.
- Providing clear, concise, and commercially relevant advice and solutions on rural property and agricultural matters.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrating a genuine interest in the rural sector and involvement in business development.
- Exhibiting high levels of personal commitment and initiative, good organisational skills, and attention to detail.
