We are hiring! At Browne Jacobson, we act for public bodies and developers on many and varied regeneration schemes around the UK, including housing regeneration projects, town centre redevelopment schemes, infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Due to new instructions in this area, we are in the market for a Senior Associate to join the firm, being based out of one of our regional offices.
Working on some large scale projects across regeneration, redevelopment and housing, we are looking for a Senior Associate, who has a passion for this sort of work knowing that their impact can make a difference. Working alongside a number of different departments in the firm, this opportunity is built for someone who loves collaboration, variety and is confident working on a range of different types of work all at once. The role also offers great opportunity for business development, including delivering training for our clients, industry led events and tender/bid writing.
Other bits of the role include:
- Providing advice on time and to a high standard of technical competence in a broad range of regeneration projects, including being alive to planning, environmental, procurement and public law issues.
- Developing responsibility for running with your own caseload including acquisitions, disposals, leasings and much more.
- Building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that all work is delivered to the highest standard, winning their confidence and trust.
- Undertaking legal research both as requested and on own initiative.
- Undertaking any other duties as required, commensurate with the level of the post.
