We are looking for a talented associate to join our growing healthcare employment practice, working alongside senior and junior lawyers to advise clients across a broad range of employment matters, with a strong focus on Employment Tribunal litigation.
The Role
- Handle predominantly contentious employment work, including:
- Preparing and managing Employment Tribunal cases — Claims/Responses, List of Issues, Witness Statements, Skeleton Arguments and settlement approval applications
- Advocacy at Case Management and Preliminary Hearings
- Drafting correspondence with Tribunals, opposing solicitors, ACAS and clients
- Advising on contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, and family-friendly rights
- Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE advice, due diligence and indemnity review
About You
- Experience in contentious and non-contentious employment law
- Strong attention to detail with commercial awareness and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Able to deliver clear, practical advice and build strong client relationships
- Up to date with legal developments, including relevant law reports and journals
