Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vac Ex Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum excavation equipment on various sites. You will be required to work as part of a team, adhering to strict safety guidelines and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship. Job Responsibilities: * Operate vacuum excavation equipment safely and efficiently. * Locate and excavate underground utilities (gas, water, electricity, telecommunications) with minimal disruption. * Conduct site surveys and risk assessments. * Maintain and clean vacuum excavation equipment. * Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects. * Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations. * Communicate effectively with site supervisors, colleagues, and clients. * Complete accurate and timely paperwork, including site reports and daily logs. * Assist with other site duties as required. * Work in a variety of weather conditions and environments. * Ensure that all works are carried out in line with company procedures and client specifications. * Visiting various sites in London and the South East Personal Attributes: Previous experience as a vac ex operator, Vac ex CPCS & EUSR. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Experience Required: * Valid UK driving licence Category C / HGV Class 2 license * Digital tacho card * EUSR card * CPCS card * Experience with RSP Vacuum excavator * A78 Vacuum Excavator Licence Familiarity with insurance administration or coordination.
