The Site Supervisor oversees the day-to-day running of our construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. This role is fundamental to achieving project success, combining hands-on leadership with strong organisation and communication.
You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, manage labour, plant and materials, and ensure all works are carried out in line with design, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers, and other stakeholders, you will monitor progress, resolve issues as they arise, maintain accurate site records, and drive productivity while upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance.
Please note that the contractual location for this role can be Falmer or Chatham. Our sites are based in Kent, Sussex and Hampshire and you will be required to attend sites within these areas on a daily basis. The contractual hours for the role is 45 hours a week.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supervising construction sites within water/wastewater utilities, with a track record of safely delivering work on time and to specification.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills, with confidence managing teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, supported by hands-on site experience.
- Competent in planning, problem-solving, reporting, and using digital site management tools.
- Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor, First Aid, and associated safety and operational certifications.
