We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Representative & Liaison Officer to act as the key link between our operational teams, clients, and customers, ensuring clear communication, positive customer experiences, and effective resolution of enquiries throughout the lifecycle of our works.
In this role, you will engage directly with residents and businesses affected by civils and utility projects, providing timely information about upcoming works, managing customer enquiries and complaints, obtaining customer consents where required, and keeping customers informed throughout their journey. You'll build strong relationships within local communities, attend stakeholder and community meetings, work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate information is shared, and maintain detailed records of all customer interactions. You will also support site audits and customer communications to help deliver a safe, compliant, and customer-centric service.
About CBUL: Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response and rehabilitation works. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions. With a reputation for safety, reliability and technical expertise, Cappagh Browne plays a critical role in protecting communities and maintaining essential infrastructure.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a customer service, customer relations, complaints handling, resident liaison, or community engagement role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and simple way.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence handling sensitive or challenging customer conversations.
- Experience using CRM or case management systems and maintaining accurate records.
