We are looking for a proactive and reliable Yards person to play a key role in supporting our civils reactive contract. This is a hands-on position at the heart of our operations, where you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficiently run yard, alongside managing plant, stock, and procurement activities. You will ensure plant equipment is tracked, inspected, and ready for use, coordinate hires, manage stock levels, and support the purchasing of materials. The role also involves carrying out basic repairs where possible, organising vehicle maintenance, and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions.   • Experience in a yard, construction, or civils environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using systems to manage stock and records
