As an Assistant Buyer at Browne, you'll play a key role in supporting the end-to-end procurement process, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure value for money, quality, and compliance. You'll also support contract management, contribute to risk mitigation across the supply chain, and carry out market research to stay informed on trends, innovations, and opportunities for improvement. This role offers hands-on exposure to both supply chain and procurement activities and is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a regulated utilities environment.

In return, you'll gain valuable experience in a supportive and professional environment, with opportunities to develop your skills, build lasting supplier relationships, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our wider business objectives. You may occasionally work outside standard hours or attend external meetings, offering further exposure and variety in your role.
