We would love to hear from you if you are looking for a role that enables a male in his 30’s with additional needs the opportunity to have a buddy who will go out, especially to the gym, meet with his friends and enjoy having someone to plan new outings.

We need you to be enthusiastic, relate to people who have additional needs, and want them to confidently develop their independence while being motivated to look for social opportunities for our client. Our client is a young man who has some additional needs and would like an additional carer to help him have the week that he would like.

He would love his support worker to have the same interests as him – going to the gym, looking after yourself with good healthy eating habits, horse riding, attending drama classes, and seeing friends. The role would be for 16 hours per week, usually consisting of 2 shifts during Monday to Friday, but there may be some changes to cover annual leave.

Applicants must respect the individual’s right to a full and valued life in their community, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to develop a trusted relationship with the client. Previous experience is not essential; it is more important to find the right person for the client. A full clean driving licence is essential.

Brownbill Case Management Services is assisting the client to recruit and employ support worker positions for a care team.

Closing Date: ASAP. If interested, please apply online quoting reference BAL/AB 01/26.
