This is a sales role within B-F UK\’s Off Trade Wholesale team, you’ll have full account responsibility, driving performance in some of B-F UK’s major Off Trade Wholesale (OFW) partners. Working closely with the National Off Trade Wholesale Manager & other key stakeholders, you\’ll ensure the commercial performance of your accounts by developing key account plans, focusing on driving distribution, ROS, promotions & visibility / activations..

This is a sales role within B-F UK\’s Off Trade Wholesale team, you’ll have full account responsibility, driving performance in some of B-F UK’s major Off Trade Wholesale (OFW) partners. Working closely with the National Off Trade Wholesale Manager & other key stakeholders, you\’ll ensure the commercial performance of your accounts by developing key account plans, focusing on driving distribution, ROS, promotions & visibility / activations..
You’ll be able to demonstrate a strong track record in managing retail / wholesale and convenience accounts, you’ll build best in class customer relationships & cross-functional partnerships (category, supply chain, marketing,brand, finance), to win with the customers & to provide clear performance insights to senior stakeholders.
What You Can Expect
Build Strong Relationships

  • Own & Build strategic partnerships with customer(s) – (establish a top to bottom network). Motivate them to purchase, promote and ensure visibility for our brands.
  • Take time to learn about the business and spend time in store, providing insight that the customer will value
  • Build strong internal relationships across Brown-Forman’s UK operation. Working extensively with the brand teams, category insights, finance, trade marketing and supply chain teams among others to effectively deliver growth and business development on your account(s)

Business Development

  • ProactivelyMeet/exceed annual volume, value & profit objectives of all brands across your account(s)
  • Work closely with the National Off Trade Wholesale Manger and the Head of Off Trade, peers and other internal stakeholders on the development of business and portfolio strategies, yearly budgets and quarterly projections, trade terms, price structures, profit margins, etc;

Commercial & Strategic Planning

  • Lead, develop and communicate the annual commercial strategies along with promotional / activation plans, in partnership with KSH, aligning them with overall UK commercial goals and KPIs.
  • Negotiate and finalize annual commercial agreements, creating detailed annual account plans encompassing volume, promotions, visibility, logistics, and financial information, while engaging with Finance to manage budgets and profitability.

Business Analytics and Insights

  • Conduct in-depth, ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor activities to identify company and brand strengths and weaknesses.
  • Manage sales planning, discount spending control, sales results, and all reporting and budgeting requirements and processes.
  • Evaluate results and optimize return on investment (ROI).

Operative Processes

  • You’ll manage all customer-related administration, including trading terms, promotions, and logistical communication.
  • Oversees stock

  • You’ll have strong sales & account management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering brand growth in a highly competitive market with challenger brands.
  • As a key member of the team, you will be a highly collaborative individual, consistently working in close partnership with a diverse range of internal stakeholders. This will involve regular & effective communication. Your ability to develop strong working relationships and articulate ideas with excellence will be crucial.
  • You’ll be highly organised & be able to manage a complex customer base & the account administration ensuring all admin is correct and on-time.
  • IT literate (MS Office, Google).
