Meaningful work from day one: This Sales Executive role within Brown‑Forman UK’s On Trade & Prestige function offers a practical opportunity to support the execution of the Specialist Retail and Wholesale strategy.
Responsibilities
- Execute regional strategy: drive distribution execution through Specialist Retailers and Wholesalers.
- Account planning: gather volume, promotional, and visibility data for account plans.
- Build foundational network: prioritise frequent in‑trade engagement with customers.
- Achieve execution targets: deliver assigned sales and distribution targets.
- Support trade activities: execute planned pricing, visibility, and promotional programs.
- Monitor and report: track performance data and report on initiative impact.
- Identify growth: report potential growth opportunities to senior team members.
- Foster internal ties: build collaborative relationships across Brown‑Forman departments.
- Participate in team: actively contribute to team development and excellence.
What You Bring To The Table
- Good knowledge of Specialist Retail and Wholesale channels at a regional level.
- Established network within Specialist Retail and wholesale channels.
- Sales experience covering Specialist Retail, regional wholesale or on‑trade environments.
- Ability to quickly infer customer and channel needs and unlock insights from data to drive growth with trade partners.
- Experience in customer negotiations at a regional level, and sound knowledge of UK trading environment.
- Business acumen, P&L experience.
- Passion for malts and a proven ability to deliver brand sales stories.

- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent influencing skills with ability to communicate sales information clearly, concisely, and visually.
- Self‑motivated with proven ability to identify issues and projects, plan and prioritise effectively, and manage multiple projects to completion by deadlines.
- Strong business acumen, judgment, and strategic capabilities.
- Superior communication skills (listening, presentations, written).
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels with strong stakeholder awareness.
- Collaborative team player with conflict management skills.
- Adaptable, flexible and resilient.
- IT literate in Google and MS Office applications.
