Meaningful Work From Day One

In the pursuit of our vision to be the most valuable spirits brand in the world, the Senior JD Brand Manager (SBM) is responsible for supporting the delivery of profitable growth for the Jack Daniel’s trademark in the UK in a meaningful way. You will be responsible for driving long-term growth by balancing innovation, consumer-centricity, and commercial excellence across the UK. This role oversees and leads the implementation of the portfolio management including all the NPD and innovation pipeline, building relevance with meaningful experiences and managing the relationship with global brand teams and agencies on the development of our global partnership with McLaren F1 team. This role will report directly to the Head of Jack Daniels in the UK, and actively nurture and support the development of brand platforms, campaigns, advertising, activation and promotional programmes in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio management and innovation: Collaborating with local and global teams to define the multi-year product roadmap. Identify white-space opportunities and lead the end-to-end development of high-impact innovations that align with brand equity and financial goals.
  • Consumer experience: Design and oversee the end-to-end consumer journey. Ensure consistent, premium brand interactions across all touchpoints to drive loyalty, meaning and engagement.
  • Global partnership with McLaren: Collaborate with McLaren F1 brand team, JD Global, agencies and local UK team to implement the UK activation for McLaren in the trade and consumer experience, evaluate and assess the results and learnings for the following year implementation.
  • Brand planning and resource allocation: Support annual brand planning and budget management. Optimize the allocation of resources to maximize ROI across global and local initiatives.
  • Competitive Monitoring & Inspiration: Analyze market trends and competitor movements. Synthesize external insights to pivot strategies and foster a consumer centric culture within the team.
  • Commercial Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, C.Mkt, and Finance teams to translate brand strategies into actionable commercial plans that drive volume and value share.
  • Drive for results: Help with monthly brand performance reviews including competitive set commentary.
  • Responsible for A&P management: raising POs, recording, monitoring and maintaining spends at all times to stay on budget.
  • Own the ongoing post evaluations of brand activities, so learnings can be applied to the planning cycle helps drive marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strategic Relationships & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with the Jack Daniel’s Global Team. Work closely with key cross-functional counterparts, including Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance. Initiate and maintain close, consistent communication with external agencies. Be a champion of the brand internally by organising events and tastings to promote the Malts portfolio. Strongly partner with production and global team to ensure UK needs are fulfilled. Act as a role model of B-F values.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Deep understanding of the market and experience in the spirits industry is required.
  • Demonstrated success driving brand strategy and shaping the impact of brands with proven results.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end product management, with deep expertise in leading new product development (NPD) from initial concept through to successful market launch and scaling.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L and budgeting.
  • Experience in presenting to various stakeholders.
