Meaningful Work From Day One
The brand manager is responsible for driving profitable growth by building the strategic plans of his/her portfolio and ensuring best-in-class execution by collaborating closely with key UK & Global stakeholders. This role requires a strong ability to advocate for and champion the brands within the business.
The working style for this role will be 4 days a week in our modern office in central London and Fridays working from home.
What You Can Expect
Value Creation
- Development of long-term and annual brand plans seeking approval from local, regional, and global brand stakeholders.
- Guardian of the brand P&Ls – optimizing strategy, investment, pricing & promotions across channels & SKU mix while monitoring brand performance and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and track the A&P budgets for the brand, including regular meetings with finance and budget owners to track spend.
Strategic Relationships & Partnerships
- Lead and champion the brand, shaping the direction and growth of different expressions with support from the Head of Marketing.
- Partner closely with the Assistant Brand Manager on multiple projects and actively participate in the ABM development plan.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams, external agencies (creative, media, BTL), and global stakeholders.
- Act as a role model of B-F values.
Drive for Results
- Bring the brand plans to life by delivering top-tier communication strategies and activation plans, partnering with the UK cross-functional team.
- Collaborate with the BBI team to measure and review research data to identify insights for growth.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to drive the brand’s communication agenda in the UK, adopting a test & learn approach.
- Ensure UK needs are fulfilled by working closely with production and global teams.
What You Bring to the Table
- FMCG/Spirit background.
- Experience in building brands within dynamic and fragmented categories.
- Operational responsibility in ATL and BTL activities.
- Experience working with PR agencies and managing earned media campaigns.
- Strong and proven commercial skills.
- Passion for brands and the ability to translate this into an ambassadorial attitude.
- On-trade knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (influencing, listening, presentations, written).
