Working with one of the World’s most iconic and valuable Spirits Brands ‘Jack Daniel’s’ along with other Premium Spirit brands such as El Jimador, Woodford Reserve, Chambord, Diplomatico Rum and Gin Mare, this is a great opportunity to join a high performing team and be an integral part of the Brown-Forman business. You will support the NAM and Senior NAM in driving commercial success and excellence within the UK Off Trade through collaboration with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
Meaningful Work From Day One
- Supporting building and delivering the Joint Business Plan along with the key processes in managing off trade grocery/wholesale customers e.g. sales reporting and analysis, BUP building, planning and forecasting, budget management, promotional evaluation. While having full P&L responsibility for some of our smaller but important retail partners.
- A key part of this role will be to support the brand activation plans, working closely with Customer Marketing internally and the customers media partners. Driving the supply chain relationship internally and externally to achieve optimal inventory and service levels.
What You Can Expect
- Build Strong Relationships - Build and develop strong relationships both externally with our Retail Partners and internally with Key Stakeholders across functions. Looking beyond the outline trading plan and pursuing new opportunities/ways of working to strengthen the relationship and performance within Sainsbury's and Premium Retail. Understand the customer and trading environment through time in store to have an external lens on how to drive sales and the relationship.
- Drive Supply Chain Collaboration – To ensure forecast alignment, analyse inventory to manage availability and stock cover, working closely with customer service and demand planning to be proactive in communication of any issues/challenges to supply. Measure key supply indicators (supplier benchmarking) and work with our supply colleagues to improve scores and ultimately availability at the point of purchase.
- Support Brand Activation - In collaboration with Customer marketing deliver the activation plans followed by measure and evaluation to support future planning. Share results internally and externally to ensure we are investing in the most effective ways to drive our brands within the retailer. Growing our share of space and customer engagement in store and online, with a focus on increasing our omnichannel execution.
- Develop Commercial & Strategic Plans – Along with the Senior NAM and NAM, collaborate with key functions such as RGM, BBI and Customer Marketing, and other stakeholders to develop commercial and strategic plans that deliver long term sustainable growth. Analysing data and commercial insight to seek out opportunities that fuel our growth agenda in the right way. Working closely with category and BBI team to build credible selling stories to increase and protect our range and distribution.
- Administration Accountability – Ensure all admin (internally and externally) is complete correctly and on time, such as invoicing, promotional nominations, new line forms, cost price changes, forecast updates etc.

- Strong sales and account management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering brand growth in a highly competitive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and analyse accurately, with an attention to detail.
- Working collaboratively is hugely important, you will also have excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities, to exceed the plan.
- Strong computer skills with current, or the ability to quickly build, proficiency in Google Workspace.
