The Brand & Business Insights (BBI) team is at the heart of BrownâForman UK and the Senior Consumer & Shopper Insights Analyst is a thought leader to the business, brand and customer marketing teams, providing insight, ideas and strategies to unlock growth, accelerate BrownâForman's competitive edge and support the organisation in its objective to be the best brand builders in the world.
Responsibilities- In collaboration with the Jack Daniels FOB, create vision, objectives & goals for each brand in the portfolio & generate strategies to drive sustained growth.
- Work with the brand team to measure and review all relevant research data information and identify insights to unlock growth.
- Champion the BrownâForman Way of Brand Building to build competitive brand building capabilities.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional internal teams for category, insight and finance analytics; join the dots between shopper, consumer, brand and category to create powerful insight that gives BrownâForman a competitive advantage.
- Be an active member of the Global BBI community, share best practices with, and learn from the wider team.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal, external (data & research agencies) and global stakeholders.
- Act as a role model of BâF values.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to embed annual Strategy and Insight (S&I) planning.
- Provide thought leadership to the brand teams as they develop strategies to position their brands for sustainable growth.
- Lead the creation of outstanding, evidenceâbased situational analyses.
- Support the marketing teams to help ideate, guide, monitor and measure all brand building and sales activation. Establish metrics that support the BrownâForman Growth Framework and improve competitiveness, effectiveness and efficiency of brand plans and activations.
- Oversee the continuous global Brand Health Monitor for the UK.
- Manage the design, commissioning, implementation and monitoring of consumer research and coordinate activity with external research companies. Manage the process from brief, hypothesis generation, through fieldwork, to debrief. Ensure key implications are shared with stakeholders in a timely manner and actionable outcomes identified.
- Lead the management of adâhoc deep dives and special projects.
- Minimum of 5+ years insight experience and a strong track record working in FMCG branded products/spirits in consumer & shopper insight.
- Experience in agency & client side or both.
- Excellent quantitative research skills and understanding of qualitative research.
- Advanced statistical analysis and excellent knowledge of panels and data analysis software and an aptitude for the manipulation and interrogation of databases. Familiarity with a broad range of consumer, category and shopper research and sources of data (Nielsen/CGA, Kantar etc.).
- Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and judgement along with strategic capabilities.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written â excellent ability to communicate and influence (strong listening, presentation & storytelling skills; gravitas to put research into business terms and persuade colleagues and key stakeholders with the insight provided).

- Collaborative team player with excellent persuasiveness, interpersonal and conflict management skills enabling to create strong working relationships.
