Meaningful Work From Day One
This is a critical role for a passionate marketer to create impact and leave a legacy on brands which are at an important junction in their life stage. The role will be involved across the full marketing mix from developing innovations, activations, go‑to‑market strategies to creating culturally relevant content. The role will work with markets globally.
The working style for this role is 4 days a week in the office and Fridays working from home.
What You Can Expect
You will work on two global brands – The Glendronach (luxury single malt scotch) & Slane (Super Premium Irish whiskey).
The Glendronach Single Malt
Primary function is to manage all The Glendronach projects related to development of new product innovation, including concepting, packaging changes / improvements and production optimisation ranging in size, scope and complexity; develop timelines, lead meetings and provide regular status updates to the global brand team and local/regional marketing teams.
Lead the global innovations pipeline and development, a key driver of incremental brand growth and consumer engagement.
Lead relationship with external and internal creative teams to develop concepts & packaging.
Lead the Stage Gate process, managing internal stakeholders for timely delivery of the innovation.
Lead and develop 360° marketing assets and toolkits (sell‑in kits, visibility guidance, PR strategy, content, Key visuals…) for every innovation to allow markets to launch and activate.
Partners with the Global Brand team and key markets on initial forecasting and developing/aligning launch plans. Ongoing support with regard to forecasting, allocations and production.
Partners with the business analytics team to conduct financial analysis supporting the innovation development.
The innovations scope to cover all The Glendronach innovations, both limited volume releases and permanent expressions.
Lead the gifting strategy and development of relevant solutions both for Asia and also for ‘always on’ core range.
Support the advocacy strategy on the brand by developing relevant activations and toolkits – serving rituals, education guidelines, etc.
Slane Irish Whiskey
Support the development of the new Brand World for Slane.
Lead the development of the full Brand Playbook and launch toolkit (Brand visual identities, photography, lead content and KVs, display guidelines, spokespeople usage guidelines…)
Develop innovation pipeline for future releases for a 5‑year period starting F28 onwards.
Lead and develop 360° marketing assets and toolkits (sell‑in kits, visibility guidance, PR strategy, content, Key visuals…) for every innovation to allow markets to launch and activate.
Work closely with lead and seed markets to scale of Slane.
Key marketing contact for Home place.
What You Bring to the Table
Minimum of 7 years experience in brand marketing roles.
Experience in managing agency partners, cultivating them as key partners to deliver creative impact.
Demonstrated ability to influence diverse stakeholders internally.
What Makes You Unique
Experience working on a challenger brand in the affordable luxury and above segments.
Global brand marketing experience.
Appreciation of commercial impact of brand strategies.
Experience in managing marketing projects involving multiple stakeholders across departments & geographies.
