Scope of the Role

In this position you will proactively build relationships across channels, collaborate with internal teams and generate actionable insights that influence shopper behaviour and unlock category growth. You will up‑skill the business in category data and insight, report on Spirit category and brand performance, and establish trusted partnerships across the broader Brown‑Forman organisation.

What You Can Expect

  • Category Insights: Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that grow the Spirit Category and B‑F brands, support annual joint business plans, champion B‑F’s Category Vision, and connect shopper, consumer and brand to create powerful insights.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Development: Partner with cross‑functional teams to champion the category in new initiatives and products, foster positivity and a One Team mentality, and collaborate with the Category & Commercial Strategy Team and Sales Functions to deliver insights that drive category growth.
  • Business Development & Processes: Support the Sales Team in developing key initiatives, manage the Category Reporting Process across all channels and contribute to the Internal Commercial Planning Process.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 1‑2 years of FMCG branded product experience in Category Management, either agency or branded manufacturer side; ability to utilise a wide range of consumer, category and shopper research sources such as Nielsen, Dunnhumby, SIP, Kantar etc.
  • Influence & Analytics: Strong analytical foundation, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to influence stakeholders through data‑driven insights and sophisticated storytelling.
  • Communication: Excellent storytelling, communication and presentation skills that engage and persuade stakeholders externally and internally.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player with a track record of building effective working relationships, listening, presenting and persuading colleagues and external partners through research insights.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced statistical analysis and proficiency in Excel to bring together multiple data sets.
