The Role

We are looking for a driven Senior PR & Social Media Executive to join the Brown Dog team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about all things PR and Social Media. Working closely with the senior team, you will play a key role in helping to deliver innovative PR, Influencer & Social Media campaigns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of PR and Social Media campaigns tailored to clients
  • Helping to manage influencer campaigns from concept to posting
  • Creating press releases and subsequent media outreach
  • Creation of monthly social media content calendars and scheduling, ensuring timely and engaging posts across platforms
  • Implementation of social media paid ad campaigns
  • Creative briefing to the studio and graphic design team for social media content creation
  • Monitor media coverage, keep coverage logs up to date and compile reports to track campaign success
  • Implementation of Digital PR campaigns to enhance SEO practices
  • Support with media pitching, securing press coverage, and identifying PR opportunities ongoing
  • Supporting coordinating press events and brand partnerships
  • Conducting community management across all clients
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the wider business across brand strategy and account management

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2/3 years experience of PR and/or social media experience in agency or in-house
  • Strong writing and confident communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience in managing social media accounts, with knowledge of best practices
  • Understanding of media relations and an interest in storytelling
  • Experience of paid social media strategy would be desired
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with PR and/or tools such as media databases, social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Creative mindset with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • An interest in interior design, architecture or creative industries is preferable
  • Paid social media and advertising experience preferable, but not essential
