Senior Account Handler Location: Solihull (Hybrid) Package: £Negotiable + Benefits As a business Thompson Insurance Brokers have been looking after their clients for over 35 years, providing outstanding service and advice to them. They have grown consistently and are now looking to add a Senior Account Handler to the team to ensure they maintain their service levels. You’ll be looking after clients across their life cycle with us from new business quotations through renewals and of course Mid-Term Adjustments, ensuring the service they receive remains best in class. The day to day: Assisting clients on renewals, new business quotations, managing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding service to them Proactively develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to obtain new business Working with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover Liaising with the senior brokers, account executives and management teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and within prescribed timescales. Actively negotiating with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases. Ensuring Retention levels and income targets are achieved. Working with the management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues The rewards: A negotiable basic salary and all the normal benefits (Pension, Death in Service etc.) A hybrid working environment, where looking after clients is king and looking after the team is equally as important We’ll also fully support your professional development (including fully funded qualifications) About you: Ideally you’ll have a solid grounding across the range of Commercial and Corporate Insurance market and be looking to take the next step in your career. Exposure to dealing with clients at all levels and product lines from £2,000 to £500,000 You’ll be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and should be used to using Word, Excel and wider broking platforms (Open GI / Acturis in an ideal world) You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, sales and IT Skills.
