Location: South of England (Field Based / Remote)

Hedron are going from strength to strength, with some exciting plans ahead for further growth, wider services and more support for their Partner Brokers. They are now looking to strengthen their compliance team to continue to provide excellent service.

You will be one of the friendly faces of our compliance team, providing practical advice, guidance and where required assisting to make sure everything is running smoothly for our network members.

Due to the nature of this role you will need to be comfortable being out and about seeing different people on a weekly basis and as such be able to drive due to some of the locations within this region not being supported by public transport.

The day to day:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) regulation to network partner brokers.
  • Conducting health-check visits to network partner brokers as specified in their business services agreements, in order to provide an assessment of their compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regulatory based visits to network partner brokers to support the achievement of their regulatory obligations, recognising that the responsibility for compliance with regulatory requirements rests with the partner broker.
  • Monitoring the progress of compliance action plans resulting from the health checks, updating the action plan, and escalating to line manager and senior management team those network partner brokers who fail to deal with the issues identified appropriately.

About you:

  • A strong skill set that includes high level communication (written, verbal, video), stakeholder management, analytical, reasoning and IT Skills. Ideally qualified to relevant level (Degree / CII Exams).
  • A solid understanding of FCA rules and procedures from either an Insurer or Broker background – due to the nature of this role prior compliance experience is essential.
  • A full driving licence – travel is to be expected with this role.
