We are currently looking to add a Corporate Account Executive to our beautiful office in Bath to support a number of existing cases and to seek out new opportunities. The team in Bath has a wonderful office environment and works hand in hand with each other to look after their clients. You will be supported by a wonderful handling team and have support from the regional claims team where required. This is a long-term progressive opportunity with a stable and key broking location.
You’ll need strong large commercial / corporate insurance knowledge to be able to pick up the clients from day one, with exposure to managing clients with income in excess of £20,000.
The day today:
- Meet and deliver against your agreed Renewal/Retention and/or New Business targets, contributing toward overall budget objectives & KPIs.
- Complete all roles and tasks as required, ensuring you adhere to procedures and policies at all times.
- Creating a customer-led culture where sales and customer standards, discipline, activities and best practice are delivered.
- Client visits, presentations to insurers, obtaining and submitting best-in-market quotations for new business or renewals.
- Debt Management – ensure all monies are collected and allocated appropriately and keep the line manager informed of any current, potential or perceived problems with bad debt.
- Manage and prioritise your diary/tasks; these are to be kept up to date.
- Complete any training that is deemed necessary for your role and complete the actions set inline with your plan.
- Ensure all training is completed to deadlines set for you and your team.
- Log all training and development on your Continuous Professional Development Plan (CPD).

- Strong knowledge of broking large commercial insurance risks across various business lines and industry types.
- Experience of commerce and industry and familiarity with markets and economic trends.
- Ability to develop and maintain business contacts and goodwill.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and present reports.
- Pro-active and self-motivated.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Co-operative and supportive team player.
