The Test Analyst at Brown & Brown Europe plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications and systems. You will work closely with the Project team to design, execute, and maintain test cases, identify and report defects, and support the continuous improvement of our products.
The day to day:
- Aligned with Business Analysis on requirements
- To support / review and write test scenarios / scripts for System test / UAT
- Manage and co-ordinate the UAT testing with the Business
- Ensuring the testing activities are addressed and actioned
- Defect management and triage with internal / external parties
- Run workshops / meetings with internal external stakeholders
- Schedule and prioritise work and activities within the project timelines
- Support and contribute to the testing phases as and when required
- Execute tests as and when required
- Reporting progress and testing metrics
- Escalating blockers and issues to the Project Team
About you:
- Extensive testing experience
- Recent experience of working within a team who use Agile principles / ADO boards
- Experience with working on migration and infrastructure programmes with line of business applications, EUC, Networks, M365, SharePoint
- Knowledge of testing tools and process
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Hands on testing experience
- Understanding and knowledge of business analysis methodologies and test metrics reporting
- Deep understanding and working knowledge of testing principles
- Ability to self-motivate whilst working remotely
Preferred:
- Recent experience of working within a team who use Team Topologies
- Experiencing of delivering Training to Business Teammates – eg How to use SharePoint, ServiceNow, Basic use of Outlook, Excel, Word
- SQL understanding
- Acturis software knowledge
