We are currently looking for a Commercial Motor Account Handler to join our professional and welcoming team in Orpington. Our Orpington office offers high quality, specialist products to Personal and Commercial clients throughout the UK. We have sustained one of the highest customer satisfaction and retention rates within the industry by focusing on the precise needs of our clients.
The position will suit an experienced insurance individual looking to further develop their career. The successful candidate will be studying towards their Cert CII or be fully qualified. We are also open to candidates with transferable skills, having worked within financial services in a customer-based role. If you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn, we are keen to consider your application.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. Working alongside like-minded and experienced insurance brokers, this is a long-term opportunity with a ‘forever company’ that will provide career progression and security.
Day to day:
- Incoming and outbound call handling.
- Corresponding and communicating with clients and insurance companies.
- Mid term adjustments.
- Data input.
- Customer service.
- Checking covers, warranties, endorsements to ensure that they are correct and in line with quotations provided.
- Providing broking and admin support to the sales teams.
- Cross selling other insurance products.
- Daily inbound and outbound post.
- Liaising with insurers and clients pre and post sale.
- Dealing with calls of a technical nature from internal Account Executives along with Insurers and Clients.
- Effectively manage individual diary.
- Maintaining day to day compliance procedures for FCA regulations.
- Maintaining a complete and comprehensive training record.
- Advising manager of any backlog in work in a timely manner.
- Advising manager of any debt recovery problems or contentious issues in a timely manner.
