Operating in a matrix environment, the role provides expert guidance to leaders, embeds core reward frameworks and ensures market competitiveness, regulatory compliance and teammate value. Translate global reward principles into practical regional frameworks aligned to people strategy and local regulatory requirements.

Partner with Risk & Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (including FCA expectations). Review and rationalise bonus and incentive structures to increase transparency and alignment. Support leaders in designing and implementing variable pay arrangements. Support harmonisation across legacy and acquired businesses while recognising local requirements. Support salary structure reviews and market‑aligned pay positioning. Use benchmarking and internal analytics to inform pay review, promotions and hiring decisions.

Acquisition & Integration Support

Assess integration risks, legacy arrangements and harmonisation opportunities. Support the transition of acquired businesses into structured European reward frameworks.

Data, Insight & Reporting

Produce high‑quality reward analysis, reporting and insights for business and regulatory needs. Use data to identify trends, risks and opportunities across pay, incentives and benefits. Support gender pay reporting and wider reward‑related analytics.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Build strong, credible relationships across US Reward, Team Resources, Finance, Legal and business leadership teams. Manage priorities across a global/regional/local matrix environment with sound judgement and pragmatism.

Significant experience in reward, compensation and/or benefits within complex organisations. Strong understanding of reward principles, benchmarking, pay review and benefits design. Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into clear insight. Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence senior leaders. Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable in a dynamic environment. Experience in regulated sectors (financial services, insurance, professional services). Familiarity with Workday or similar systems. Experience supporting post‑acquisition reward integration.
