The team at PIA (Part of Cavendish Munro) is currently looking for a Broker to join their professional team based out of their office in Eastbourne. This is a long‑term opportunity that will suit a person with existing Insurance industry knowledge and someone looking to progress within the industry by taking on wider responsibilities.

The Day To Day:

  • Managing a book of renewals which are allocated each month, together with MTA’s and cancellations
  • Dealing with new business enquiries
  • Issuing contract‑certain quotations to clients, together with policy documentation
  • Collecting premiums / processing premium‑finance transactions
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and underwriters through telephone, email and face‑to‑face meetings if required
  • Complying with company CPD
  • A well‑developed skill set that includes strong communication, negotiation, sales, and IT skills coupled with a keen eye for detail
  • Confidence to deal with difficult situations and the ability to seek guidance from managers when needed
  • Good team‑working skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
