Due to Brown & Brown’s consistent growth over the last few years, we are looking for a New Business focused Account Executive to join our team and build a personal portfolio, based out of our office in East Grinstead. You’ll be fully supported by our experienced broking support and claims team so you can focus on winning and looking after clients.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Develop a personal pipeline of new business
- Add new introducers to your network
- Advise clients on new business quotations, coverage requirements and through to their renewals
- Work with clients to expand and develop coverage to ensure the right cover
- Liaise with broking and support teams to Treat actively ensuring all documentation is accurate
- Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases
- Ensure income and retention targets are achieved and maintained
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and support development of colleagues

Required Experience
- A proven track record across the range of commercial insurance markets and a desire to build a personal portfolio and put down roots
- High‑level communication skills (verbal, written, video), negotiation, influencing, sales, stakeholder management, delegation and IT skills with a client‑first mindset
- Confidence in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, particularly board level
- A full driving licence
