Key Responsibilities
- 1. Requirement Gathering (Primary Focus)
- Work with stakeholders across the business to gather, document, and validate requirements for change initiatives
- Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements suitable for delivery teams
- Challenge and refine requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment to business objectives
- Maintain traceability between requirements, testing, and delivered outcomes
- 2. Documentation & Artefact Management (Primary Focus)
β’ Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Test logs and test tracking documentation
- Entry and exit criteria for testing phases
- Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and consistent across projects
- Own version control and governance of project artefacts
- 3. Testing Coordination
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple stakeholders and teams
- Ensure test plans are defined, agreed, and executed in line with requirements
- Manage test progress, defect tracking, and resolution follow-up
- Act as the central point of coordination between business testers and delivery teams
- 4. Process Mapping & Improvement (Project-Specific)
- Capture and document current state (AS-IS) processes
- Support the design and documentation of future state (TO-BE) processes
- Produce clear process maps aligned to project requirements
- Ensure process changes are understood, practical, and aligned to business outcomes
- 5. Stakeholder & End User Communication
- Act as a key point of contact between project teams and end users
- Communicate requirements, changes, and updates in a clear and structured manner
- Support user understanding of changes and gather feedback where needed
- Build strong relationships across operational and delivery teams
- 6. Progress & Status Reporting (Primary Focus)
- Provide structured updates on project progress, risks, and blockers
- Produce regular status reporting for initiatives (excluding those led directly by senior leadership)
- Ensure transparency of delivery status across stakeholders
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately
Skills & Experience
- Core Skills
- Strong requirement gathering and documentation capability
- Excellent attention to detail and document quality
- Experience coordinating testing and managing test artefacts
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Structured and organised approach to delivery
- Technical / Tools (Desirable)
- Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
- Familiarity with Excel-based tracking (test logs, RAID logs, etc.)
- Experience working in project or change environments
