As a team, our Xenia office in The City Of London has been growing exceptionally well and are looking to strengthen their highly experienced team with a Business Development Executive.

The day to day:

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement cross-selling frameworks and campaigns tailored to customer segments and retail businesses.
  • Opportunity Identification: Analyse customer data and buying patterns to uncover cross-sell opportunities and develop actionable plans.
  • Collaboration: Partner with B&B retail businesses to embed cross-selling into the sales process and customer life cycle. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Brown & Brown retail MD's and their teams. Regularly visit and engage with retail business across the UKI to promote reciprocal cross-selling initiatives. Participate in regional Account Executive meetings alongside Xenia BDEs to support and communicate the cross-selling strategy. Secure opportunities for Xenia BDEs to participate in Brown & Brown events and meetings to enhance collaboration and growth.
  • Performance tracking: Define KPIs and track success of cross-selling efforts, reporting regularly to retails MDs and retail leadership team.

About you:

  • Ideally have trade credit experience, however full training will be provided.
  • Essential to be an experienced driven sales person.
  • Ability to work under pressure as part of a small team.
  • Good communication skills and customer focused.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Accurate record keeping.
  • You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, sales and IT Skills.
