What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Corporate and Social Responsibilities Lead to shape and drive the next chapter of our CSR and Social Value agenda. This is a pivotal role responsible for designing and delivering a strategy that not only aligns with our business goals but also creates meaningful and measurable impact for our communities, customers, and teammates. You’ll have the autonomy to shape impactful initiatives and the support of a business committed to doing the right thing.

Some of the things you’ll get up to:

  • Develop and implement a Social Value and CSR strategy aligned with business priorities and public procurement requirements (including PPN 002).
  • Lead a diverse portfolio of social value initiatives, from volunteering programmes to community partnerships.
  • Build and manage a robust monitoring and reporting framework, using KPIs and metrics to track and demonstrate impact.
  • Partner with local organisations, charities, and third-sector bodies to enhance community outcomes.
  • Provide expert input into tender responses, ensuring our social value commitments are compelling and deliverable.
  • Establish and coordinate an internal network of Social Value Champions to embed initiatives across the business.
  • Analyse and report on social value data to inform decision-making and future strategy.
  • Promote our achievements across internal and external channels.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with social value delivery, ensuring ethical and compliant practice.

We’d like you to have:

  • Extensive experience in Social Value, CSR, sustainability, or community engagement.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing, delivering, and measuring impactful social value or volunteering programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging across internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Analytical capability, including experience managing impact data.
  • Solid understanding of UK Social Value frameworks, public procurement requirements, and ESG principles.
  • Professional certifications in CSR, Sustainability, or Project Management (desirable).
