We are currently looking for a Senior Claims and Risk Management Executive to join our professional and welcoming team in Orpington. Our Orpington location offers high quality, specialist products to Personal and Commercial clients throughout the UK. We have sustained one of the highest customer satisfaction and retention rates within the industry by focusing on the precise needs of our clients.
The position of Senior Claims and Risk Management Executive is a key role and requires a professional approach. You will play an integral role within the business by ensuring that claims are dealt with promptly and efficiently from first notification through to settlement, while maintaining regular contact with our clients with updates. Specialising in Commercial Insurance for SME and Corporate customers, this role is focused in our Commercial non-motor division.
Day to day:
- Handle both client and Insurer elements of large or complex losses, including; Public and Employers Liability, Property, BI and/or Financial lines policies.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Insurance claims law, and policy wordings to secure the best possible settlements for our customers.
- Protect the business from E&O. Dealing with Indemnity issues with Insurers.
- Build meaningful relationships with business owners.
- Provide Risk Management expertise, using data and trend analysis.
- Liaise and deal with building surveyors, loss adjusters and assessors.
- Incoming and outbound Claims call handling (new and existing clients).
- Corresponding and communicating with clients and Insurance companies.
- Deal with Commercial claims from first notification to final settlement.
- Resolve any day to day claims queries and issues received through to resolution.
- Monitor and maintain up to date information within the claims register.
- Monitor reserves and claims position.
- Advise clients about Risk Management and how this will benefit them in respect of claims.
- Ensure a comprehensive record is constantly updated and noted on the electronic file/Open GI system.
- Liaise and work alongside Claims Team to identify any potential problems or issues.
- Meet all company set targets and objectives.
- Data input.
- Maintain day to day Compliance procedures for FCA Regulation.
- Customer service.
- Maintain a complete and comprehensive training record/log.
- Share ideas or suggestions for business improvement with Management.
- Advise Manager of any backlog in work in a timely manner.
- Effectively manage individual diary and personal workflow.
- Resolve client complaints/issues.
- Produce regular claims reports for clients/sales team for meetings.
- Produce renewal reports in respect of claims history.
- Undertake client visits for prospective/new/renewal and review meetings, monthly or quarterly.
- Build close relationships with key and VIP clients.
