Job Description
Position – Commercial Motor New Business Executive
Location – Orpington, Greater London
Salary – Negotiable + Bonus + Benefits
Overview
We are looking for an experienced commercial motor new business insurance broker to join the welcoming and forward thinking team in Orpington.
You will be working in the Commercial Motor Fleet New Business team, handling all motor business, liaising with insurers and clients. Following up warm leads generated through our outbound team and responding to new, inbound enquiries.
The company is looking to the future and prides itself on having a market leading client service model and a long list of insurers and products it can access. The office team consists of some of the best insurance minds and personalities in the area.
The day to day;
- New Business development, including quotation and binding cover
- Converting new business enquires in line with or in excess of company targets
- Checking covers, warranties, endorsements to ensure that they are correct and in line with quotations provided
- Preparing market presentations
- Mid term adjustments
- Cross selling other products
- Incoming and outbound call handling
- Data input
- Managing personal work workflow effectively and efficiently
- Maintaining a complete and comprehensive training record
- Sharing ideas or suggestions for business improvement with management Advising manager of any backlog in work in a timely manner

Your Experience:
- Commercial motor insurance broking experience
- New business enquiries/generation, renewals and midterm adjustments
- Good understanding of commercial motor insurance products and options
- Acturis insurance broking software knowledge is an advantage
- Possession of a full driving licence
