We are currently seeking to fill an ETF Product Manager role with an individual who will play a leading role in supporting existing European ETF relationships, as well as business development activities with potential ETF issuers. The candidate will work closely with members of the Global ETF Product and Relationship Management teams on both Product and Business development, with a focus on Europe and Asia. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing relationships with other industry participants to further enhance BBH’s brand and form strategic alliances in the ETF marketplace. The candidate will need to be highly adaptable and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Support BBH’s product, client relationships, and sales initiatives for ETFs; closely working with the European ETF Sales Manager and the Global ETF Product Team
- Remain current and knowledgeable on key trends in the ETF marketplace and the operating model requirements to support ETFs
- Contribute to BBH’s ETF product development by actively identifying and communicating European technology development enhancements to the Global ETF Technology Team; stay abreast of competitor technology offerings to maintain competitive positioning
- Support market engagement and sales initiatives to promote BBH’s ETF servicing capabilities to Asset Managers / ETF sponsors, including through publication of thought leadership and participation in industry events and panels
- Build and maintain industry relationships across the European ETF ecosystem and form strategic alliances where appropriate
- Promote BBH products and services throughout the industry and position BBH for long-term opportunities
- Educate internal constituents on the ETF marketplace and raise awareness of BBH’s ETF servicing capabilities to generate cross selling opportunities
- Oversee ETF Product launches with Relationship Managers and Service Delivery Teams
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree or certification desirable
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in ETFs within an Asset Manager or Service Provider (i.e. Custodian, Index Provider, Exchange, Specialist, etc.)
- Professional business acumen; ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally
- Communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability
- Excellent PowerPoint skills
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Detail oriented with proven ability to see open issues to resolution
- Proven negotiation skills
- Project Management / Consulting skills a plus
- Global custody and asset administration product knowledge desirable
- Travel is required
