A fantastic opportunity exists for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Main Contractor and lead a £30m scheme in the Grimsby area. As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take commercial lead responsibility for this new-build project, overseeing all cost management, procurement, contract administration, and financial controls from pre-construction through to final account.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 3 years at Senior QS level.
  • Proven experience delivering commercial management on new-build projects £20m+.
  • Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous Tier 1 or larger Tier 2 Contractor experience.
