We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Paralegal who is fluent in Mandarin to join our dynamic legal team. This role involves supporting fee-earners across both residential and commercial conveyancing matters, as well as providing administrative support on wider property transactions. Your bilingual skills in English and Mandarin will be crucial for effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Key Duties

  • Assist with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, including preparing contract packs, dealing with enquiries, and drafting standard documents.
  • Conduct title checks, searches, and research on property law, regulations, and compliance matters.
  • Manage exchange and completion processes, ensuring all relevant documentation is in order.
  • Maintain accurate case files and records; complete data entry efficiently.
  • Use Yardi software for property management functions, including reporting and updates.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, diary management, and handling correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell services, enhancing both client satisfaction and business growth.

Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software is a strong advantage.
  • Previous office experience is essential, ideally within a property or legal environment.
