Data Entry Admin

The Data Entry Administrator main focus is on the accurate entry, maintenance and management of laboratory data within approved systems.

You will ensure data is complete, compliant and audit‑ready in line with GMP and ALCOA principles, while also supporting related sample documentation and basic supply chain activities. It suits a highly detail‑focused individual working in a regulated scientific environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate tabulation of laboratory data
  • Supporting sample preparation including documentation, labelling etc.
  • Accurate and clear record keeping
  • Support procurement and supply chain activities

Key tasks

  • Accurately tabulating laboratory data into approved spreadsheet and systems for routine and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring all entries are compliant with GMP requirements.
  • Providing support to the Stability team with sample preparation activities, including labelling products, documentation and preparation of samples for stability set down.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date records to support reporting, audits and inspections. Ensuring data is legible, contemporaneous and aligns with ALCOA principles.
  • Support procurement and supply chain activities including receiving samples and deliveries, arranging carriers and movement of goods, assisting with purchasing and checking non-scientific deliveries.
  • Other tasks as appropriate to support the business requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Minimum of English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.

IT Literate particularly in Excel and Word.

Key skills and attributes

Essential: Previous Data Entry experience essential. Strong attention to detail, working accurately in a timely fashion. Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word. High standard Excel. Quality focus, ensuring data is also correct. Ability to maintain focus within a repetitive task.

Preferred: Data tabulation experience within a regulated setting. Previous experience within a scientific setting would be advantageous but not necessary.

Salary and benefits

Salary: £27,500 - £28,500

Broughton Day: Option of a fixed day off every 2 or 3 weeks through salary sacrifice (full time only)

Holidays: 25 days per annum. Option to purchase up to 1 week’s additional holiday through salary sacrifice

Pension: Auto-enrolment

Annual Bonus: Up to £1,200 based on company and personal performance.
