We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic Hospitality Team Members to join our growing team working flexibly across our hospitality venues, including Utopia Bistro, Avalon Wellbeing Centre, and The Hall, supporting day‑to‑day operations, events, and guest experiences to the highest standards.
Monday – Sunday rota (includes weekends and evenings)
Start Date: Immediate start available
£13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Utopia Bistro (On-Site Dining)
- Deliver warm, professional front of house service, including waiting tables and engaging with guests.
- Operate the till and POS system, taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide knowledgeable menu guidance and respond confidently to guest queries.
- Support preparation of the space before service for all retreats, events, weddings, meetings, and assist with clear‑downs and resets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, including basic cleaning duties in line with food hygiene standards.
- Assist with preparation and turnaround of meeting room bookings within the space.
Avalon Wellbeing Centre (Front Desk & Facilities)
- Act as the first point of contact for guests at the Avalon reception desk.
- Answer telephone calls, take accurate messages and manage bookings and schedules.
- Provide calm, welcoming and professional customer service aligned with wellbeing values.
- Prepare studio spaces for classes, treatments and sessions, including set‑ups and take‑downs.
- Carry out basic cleaning duties across reception areas, studios, gym, pool suite, and changing rooms.
- Manage laundry duties, including towel replenishment and stock rotation.
The Hall (Guest Arrivals, Service & Events)
- Support guest arrivals, including welcoming guests, escorting them to rooms and assisting with luggage.
- Deliver front of house and waiting‑on duties during meal service.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of communal areas with a strong eye for detail.
- Support the delivery of Sanctuary events in the Hall, including filming, retreats, weddings, private parties and functions.
Across The Sanctuary
- Assist with both indoor and outdoor event set‑ups and take‑downs.
- Represent Broughton Sanctuary in a professional, polished, and guest‑focused manner at all times.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and availability to work varied hours, including weekends
