As Front of House, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of guest experiences across the Estate. Working closely with the Hall Manager, you will provide a warm and professional welcome to guests, supporting the seamless operation of retreats, exclusive use bookings, weddings and private events.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with guest arrivals, check-ins, and departures, ensuring a consistently high level of personal service.
  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of retreats, events, and private functions held within the Hall.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the Estate’s facilities and offerings to assist guests with queries and requests.
  • Ensuring all guest areas are presented and maintained to the highest standards, with attention to detail and care.
  • Liaising with colleagues across hospitality, events, and wellbeing teams to ensure an integrated and polished guest experience.
  • Supporting general upkeep, light maintenance, and housekeeping duties within the Hall as required.

As part of a small and dedicated team, you’ll embody the Broughton ethos — calm, attentive, and professional — and will take pride in upholding the quality and spirit that define every guest’s stay. Please note that this list of duties is not exhaustive and may evolve in line with the needs of the Estate.

In addition to duties within the Hall, your role will also support other areas of the Sanctuary as required. This may include Front of House duties at Avalon, assisting with food service at Utopia during peak times or events, and providing support across other areas of the Estate when needed. Flexibility and a collaborative approach are essential to ensuring the highest standard of guest experience throughout the Sanctuary.

You will have:

  • A passion for exceptional guest service and a genuine warmth in your approach.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, front of house, or guest relations (luxury or retreat setting desirable).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist across departments when needed.
  • Pride in presentation and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during key events as required.
