Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer, they are looking for experienced Auto Electricians or Hydraulic Fitters to join them as an Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Skilled in either electrical or hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly techniques (Automotive)
- You will have Auto-Electrical qualifications; if you have completed training courses in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics it would be an advantage
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings
- Knowledge of CANbus systems
- Two years experience of working in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
- Experience in production projects and Continuous Improvement
- Ability to read and understand engineering build specifications
- You are available for overtime during the week, Fridays, and weekends on occasions
Salary: Up to £17.24 per hour + Overtime
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assembling and fitting electrical and hydraulic systems to high standards
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings
- Ensure all work meets build specifications and quality expectations in line with BS EN ISO 9001
- Carry out electrical and hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly
- Take ownership of your own quality and workmanship
- Promote good housekeeping and follow all health and safety procedures
- Support team members and assist with planning and continuous improvement
- Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive, can-do attitude
