I am recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a respected consultancy delivering large residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across the UK. This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer who wants real responsibility, influence over technical delivery and the chance to be part of a busy, friendly and well-established civil engineering team.
This Senior Civil Engineer role focuses on leading and coordinating development infrastructure design across high-profile schemes. You will take ownership of highways design, drainage strategies and detailed infrastructure work, while helping to drive best practice, consistency and efficient delivery across the team. Based from the Bristol office, the role offers hybrid and flexible working alongside clear progression and continued professional development.
Responsibilities- Deliver and check highways infrastructure design including S38 and S278 approvals
- Produce drainage strategies and detailed design for S104 and S98 agreements
- Develop SuDS solutions, foul pumping stations and balancing facilities
- Ensure all work complies with CDM Regulations and UK Building Standards
- Coordinate with clients, local authorities, architects and design teams
- Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Contribute to project planning, risk management and programme delivery
- HNC, HND or degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Strong UK consultancy experience in highways and drainage design
- Confident using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
- Chartered or actively working toward professional qualification
- Strong communicator with good organisational skills
