We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major Energy from Waste development in Peterborough on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale industrial build with a strong pipeline of work and a long-term programme.

Responsibilities

  • Setting out for RC frame and associated civils works
  • Carrying out accurate surveys using total station equipment
  • Producing and maintaining QA documentation
  • Working to RAMS and site health & safety procedures
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams
  • Checking lines, levels and dimensions on site
  • Completing as-built surveys and records

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on RC frame projects
  • Experience working on heavy civils, industrial or infrastructure projects preferred
  • Competent using Leica or Trimble total stations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience completing QA paperwork and working to RAMS
  • CSCS card essential
  • Engineering qualification preferred

Package

  • £350 per day CIS
