Location: Wincanton, Somerset

Salary: £45,500 - £47,500

Working hours: Monday - Friday, early finish Friday

Holiday entitlement: 33 days holiday, increasing holiday, additional leave for birthday

Role & Responsibilities

  • Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used
  • Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on a range of equipment
  • Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair machinery
  • Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs, risk assessments
  • Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues
  • Work on a range of valves & pumps
  • Support production & continuous improvement projects

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
  • Continuous improvement knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
  • Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments
