A large, privately owned waste management company is looking for a Weighbridge Operator/Administrator to join the team. To be successful in this role you will need to be confident in personality and comfortable working in an industrial environment where you are lone working the majority of the time. Customer focussed and hold responsibility for correctly recording all incoming and outgoing payment transactions whilst controlling and logging vehicles entering/leaving site. You need your own transport to get to site.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and drivers to the site controlling entry
- Record all incoming and outgoing vehicle movements via the weighbridge system
- Dealing with money transactions both in and outgoing via cash and card and logging transactions
- With training, logging and identifying Ferrous/Non-Ferrous metals being delivered
- Production of routine reports in relation to the Depot operations and material inputs and outputs
- Ensure that general housekeeping & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Report all accidents and incidents in accordance with company rules, undertaking specific investigations as appropriate

- Someone willing to work in an industrial porta cabin environment
- Effective communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills in order to professionally interact with colleagues and customers face to face and over the phone
- Ability to complete administration and log transactions
- Numerical and comfortable with cash transactions
- Commitment to delivering service excellence
- Attention to detail
Hours
Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm (45 hours per week)
