Quality Manager needed for our client, a leading independent third party distribution business, who are investing into their large distribution centre. We're looking for someone who has experience of working in quality (ISO9001 QMS, audits and RCA/CAPA doesn't need to be a current quality manager, a quality supervisor or engineer could see this as a great step up) and knows how big warehouses with hundreds of staff operate (you need to come from a warehouse / distribution / 3PL background).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing QC inspectors and supporting with inspection reports where needed
- Help to manage any action / correction process needed
- Updating systems with each QC pass, failure or commercial acceptance
- Carrying out internal audits and subsequent RCA / CAPA activity
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience working with ISO9001 QMS
- Internal audit knowledge (an auditing qualification preferred but not essential)
- Have worked in a fast paced 3PL / Distribution / Warehouse environment
- Great communication and soft skills
