PK Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and resilient ICT Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Wakefield area. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a welcoming school environment with a strong and supportive culture.
The school is looking for a committed teacher who can deliver engaging ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
The Role- Teaching ICT to KS3 and KS4 students
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons that support student progress
- Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching ICT within secondary schools
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A resilient, patient, and nurturing approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel and occasional school-related visits may be required.
Pay £180 - £230 per day
