Responsibilities
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with students to help them engage in learning.
- Helping to implement personalised learning and behaviour plans.
- Working closely with the wider school team to promote positive outcomes for all students.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEMH or SEN setting.
- A calm, compassionate and consistent approach to behaviour management.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support young people.
- Resilience, adaptability and a good sense of humour.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., TA qualification, Team Teach) are desirable but not essential.
