Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are looking for a passionate, confident Team Leader to join a Day Centre in Harrow, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing staff, and creating a positive, engaging environment where the people we support can thrive. You will lead a team of dedicated Support Workers and play a key role in ensuring the service delivers high-quality, person-centred support every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and support
  • Coordinating daily activities and programmes within the Resource Centre such as therapeutic sessions as well as recreational and educational activities
  • Ensuring individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs receive meaningful, person-centred support
  • Supporting staff through supervision, mentoring, and guidance
  • Promoting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion for the people we support
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and care quality
  • Working closely with families, professionals and multidisciplinary teams
  • Supporting rota planning and smooth day-to-day running of the service

About You

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and confident in leading others. You will likely have:

  • Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs
  • Experience as a Team Leader in a care setting
  • A strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
  • The ability to motivate, support and develop a team
  • Confidence managing complex needs or behaviours that challenge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full flexibility to work across service needs

Desirable

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards Level 5)
  • Experience working in a day service
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support
