We are recruiting for a well-established aluminium window and door fabrication company based in Tamworth, supplying high-quality products to commercial and residential projects across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable CNC Operator to join the production team.
The Role
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision aluminium window and door components to specification. You will play a key role in ensuring products are produced efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Setting and operating CNC machining centres for aluminium profiles
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication manuals
- Uploading and editing CNC programs where required
- Measuring and inspecting machined components to ensure accuracy and quality
- Cutting, drilling, milling, and prepping aluminium sections for fabrication
- Performing routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with production schedules
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working closely with the fabrication and assembly teams
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery (experience with aluminium preferred)
