Our client is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their busy logistics and supply chain team based in Billingham. This position will support international logistics operations, coordinating imports and exports while ensuring all shipments and customs activities are managed efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of customer orders using SAP
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
  • Liaising with freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers
  • Managing import/export customs documentation
  • Supporting compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Monitoring shipping schedules and delivery performance
  • Maintaining accurate logistics and shipment records

Requirements

  • Previous experience within supply chain, logistics or import/export coordination
  • Understanding of customs procedures and international shipping
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • SAP experience advantageous
  • Manufacturing or industrial sector experience preferred
