Our client is seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to work as a member of the Dispatch Team, primarily responsible for picking and packing customer orders, attaching all associated shipping documentation, and palletising in readiness for carrier collection.
Main Responsibilities of the Despatch Operative:
- Daily picking and packing of customer orders.
- Putting away in set locations and booking onto the IT system.
- Checking customer orders for accuracy and reporting any errors to the dispatch supervisor.
- Completing all dispatch paperwork to correct standards.
- Ensuring that all processes are carried out in line with standard operating procedures.
- Good, effective communications; raising any non-conformities to be actioned.
- Any other duties as requested by a member of the management team.
